Travel is to take a journey/trip from one place to another byroad, rail, sea or air.

Advantages of Traveling

1. Meeting new people.

When you travel you can make new friends and business contacts – and even fall in love!

2. Learning new languages.

What better way to brush up on your language skills than by traveling to a country where that language is spoken?

3. Trying new things.

New foods, new sport, you name it!

4. Challenging your worldview.

Learn to see the world from other people’s perspectives.

5. Leaving behind the stresses of home. Kiss your troubles goodbye by getting on a plane!

6. Helping others.

Volunteering in another country is very rewarding.

7. The memories and the photos.

Store up wonderful memories to last a lifetime. Photographs of distant lands to hang on your walls: what could be better?

Disadvantages of Traveling

1. The cost.
Traveling can break the bank balance.

There’s no place like home.

Why not just learn to appreciate the good things you already have at home?

3. Language barriers.
Traveling can be hard when you don’t speak the language.
Missing friends and family
Travellers can get really homesick.

5 The issue of your home
And who will ensure the security of your vacant home?

6 Hotel culture
Some hotels are great – others are horrific at times!

7 Taking time out from school
It can be hard to get the school’s permission to take your kids for holiday

There are two types of travellers.

Solo travellers and group travellers

Solo travellers can be defined as embarking on a trip with no specific requirements on time and place in entire journey.

Group travellers can be defined as the travellers who have common interests of travelling at different places. They prefer doing it as they found it cheaper than solo travellers.

Advantages of group traveling
Saving money - you can save money by sharing all your expenses in group regarding travel cost, food cost, accommodation cost and many more.Safety - when it comes to traveling in other cities or countries where everyone and everything is completely new to you, you will have more safety when you travel in group. Every city has its own issue with different type of crimes so its good to travel in group.Sharing things - when you travel in a group, you will always have somebody to share your travel experiences.

Disadvantages of Group Travel
No privacy - there is no privacy when you travel in group. There will be little chance for yourself when you will be in group.Different interests- its very common thing when you travel in a group, not everyone is same and is interested in the same thing you do. For example you want to go at beach but your friends are interested in visiting a museum.Clashing personalities - if you do not get along with someone in a group then traveling is not going to turn you both into friends and at times situations become uncomfortable for travelling together.

Advantages of Solo Travel
You are your own boss - you can travel to various places at your own time. You wont have to compromise with any places to visit.Meeting new people - meeting other travellers is part of picture while you travel alone. Lot of travellers end up by meeting at same spots where they find people with common interests. Reflection - you are the boss of your own time and you can reflect all your time on yourself when you love spending time on yourself.

Disadvantages of Solo Travel
Safety - anything can happen when you travel alone. Things can happen in with group travellers as well but it is quite more likely to happen with solo traveler to be attacked by pick pockets, muggings and much more.Loneliness - solo travellers are mainly accompanied by themselves only so solo travellers get lonely, soon at times as compared to group travellers
