Respecting yourself means giving and defining your own worth and value as a human being.

Respect is a basic moral value or need which makes us aware that we are human beings. Respecting your parents, teachers and elders is the main steps towards teaching the meaning and importance of respect in our life. Respect includes how you feel about someone and how you treat someone. The other reason that you should pay respect to people is good Karma.

Respecting yourself means giving and defining your own worth and value as a human being. If you do not respect yourself, it will be more difficult for you to respect anyone else. So, basically it all begins with self-respect. The value of self-respect may be something we take for granted.

Respect is an attitude. Having respect for someone means you think good things about that person. Showing respect to someone means you act in a way that shows you care about their feeling and well-being. It also include things like treating people with courtesy, caring enough about yourself that you do not do things you know can hurt you as well as others.

One of the best ways to show respect for someone is to truly listen to another’s point of view. We will not always agree with one another on every topic but we should allow each other to have and express our own views. Great say by Laurence Stone,“Respect for ourselves guides our morals, respect for others guides our manners.”

Respecting others is a silent way to express our feeling for them. It is an unspoken way of communication which builds strong relationship between people.

A respectful workplace is one where you will find more engaged and productive employees. So it is important to have respect among all in workplace which can improve following things:

  • .       Improves relationship s among people
  • .       Reduces stress
  • .       Becomes a fair environment to work in
  • .       Boosts productivity
  • .       Solves problems and reduces conflicts
  • .       Boost knowledge and understanding

To demonstrate your respect for a good working place should follow few things like:
  •        Be polite to each other
  •        Control your anger
  •        Do not judge people
  •        Help others
  •       Encourage and inspire others

Now a days younger generation thinks that showing respect to someone means that you are degrading yourself. They take respect as a sign of weakness or inferiority which could harm one’s self respect. But it is absolutely wrong concept about the basic or emotion which makes us a real human being.

Think…. A world without respect and its importance. Respect has great importance in everyday life.

Unlike food, respect cost nothing. Self-respect is at the heart of respecting others. When you can identify and appreciate your strength and accept your vulnerabilities it is easier to truly respect the value in others. “When it comes to respect we have to earn it for ourselves”, said by Dalal Haldeman.

Procure to Pay, also known as P2P , is the process of obtaining the raw materials needed for manufacturing a product or providing a service, and making payment for these. Every manufacturing concern or service provider needs to run this cycle efficiently if they are to continuously manage their cash flow, build goodwill with suppliers and make profits. Steps of the Procure to Pay (P2P) Cycle: *   The process begins with planning what materials are required, when they are required, and the price that the company can afford to pay for them. *   Then the company prepares a list of vendors that they think can provide the materials for them. *   The company asks each of the vendors to submit a quotation, which includes the price, terms of delivery, quality of materials, and any other information that they need for making their decision.
